About Us

The San Antonio Soaring Society is a non-profit club founded to provide soaring opportunities and training in the San Antonio area.  Supported by Boerne Stage Airport – SASSI has grown into a vibrant group with two club gliders, a tow-plane, and 8500 sq ft glider hangar!

Our gliders are available for use to all club members, as well as to the public for introductory discovery flights. Click here to schedule a discovery flight!

We will soon be moving operations to South Texas Regional Airport at Hondo.
